MAPLE BUSINESS PARK AT FULL CAPACITY AS AGENCY TEAM OVERSEES FINAL LETTINGS
Acting on behalf of the landlord, the consultancy’s award-winning industrial agency team has let the last five units on Maple Business Park on Walter Street, Aston, and agent Alex Eagleton said that with space on multi-let estates dwindling, demand was higher than ever for high quality stock in the region.
Units 3, 4 and 5 on the estate, with a floor space totalling 6,666 sq ft, were let to Nutters Fasteners earlier this year, while units one and 12, with floor plates of 2,625 sq ft and 2,842 sq ft, were let in October to Becks Butchers and Rexel UK respectively.
Alex said: “We’re delighted that the estate is fully let further to lease terms being negotiated with the final tenants.
“The units were an attractive proposition, having been refurbished to a high standard and including office accommodation, car parking and loading yards. The estate’s location and prominence to the main road has been a major draw to the new tenants: Birmingham city centre is just two miles away and junction six of the M6 one mile away; a key factor in attracting all three tenants.
“Nutters Fasteners has taken on the three units as a storage and distribution centre with a trade counter function, while Rexel UK, a leading business-to-business distributor of electrical installation supplies, will establish unit 12 as a storage and distribution hub.”
Leamington Spa-based Becks Butchers intends to use its unit as a wholesale warehouse.
Alex added: “Space on established multi-let estates is in increasingly short supply and there is a growing need to find new sites to meet the ongoing demand. Key factors in attracting occupiers are good access links, internal specification and security.”
