DARLASTON WAREHOUSE SOLD FOR ABOVE ASKING PRICE AS BLACK COUNTRY INDUSTRIAL STOCK SHORTAGE CONTINUES

Sara Garratt, who oversaw the sale, said: “The last few years have seen demand for industrialstock across the Black Country far out-stripping supply, and this was a rare opportunity to acquire a freehold opportunity on a well-appointed commercial estate within the region.

“With those factors in mind, and also considering its central location, close to both Walsall and Wolverhampton town centres, and its convenient access to the M6 – junctions 9 and 10 of which are both just two miles away – we received a numberof enquiries from occupiers and investors alike.”

Following a substantial amount of interest in the opportunity, the buyer, who has not been named, successfully secured the unit with the intention of further capitalising on the demand for quality warehousing in the region by carrying out a refurbishment at the property before Harris Lamb put it back on the market.
