BID DEADLINE OF 17th MAY 2019 SET FOR FOMER STAFFORDSHIRE DAIRY’S RESIDENTIAL REDEVELOPMENT
Residential land agents at Harris Lamb have set a deadline for bids from developers wanting to acquire a former dairy in Staffordshire.
The former Fole Dairy site in the village of Fole, near Uttoxeter, has outline planning permission for 56 two-to-four-bedroom properties,.
James Willcock of Harris Lamb’s Residential Land team, said: “We have had a lot of interest in this opportunity from housebuilders keen to develop the site. At 5.16 acres, the land is adjacent to a number of period Grade II Listed Buildings located to the north and south east of the site, one comprising Fole Chapel and the other a former mill.
“The primary land use in and surrounding Fole is farming and the site benefits from stunning unspoilt rolling countryside views, while the River Tean lies to the south.
“The development is in a prime location for commuters, positioned along the A522 with good links to surrounding towns and motorway networks, and provides easy access to numerous business hubs such as JCB and major transport links.”
James said that the site had been cleared and signed off by the Environmental Agency following demolition and remediation, and that the land had been levelled, with build platforms put in place ready for development.
“Due to the significant levels of interest we’ve received in recent months, we’ve now set a bid deadline of Friday May 17th for developers to submit their offers and for the sale to progress,” he added.
A suite of documents and reports on the site can be obtained via a dedicated data room, which can be accessed by visiting www.foledairy.co.uk, the password for which can be obtained by contacting james.willcock@harrislamb.com or alice.harding@harrislamb.com.
