BUILDING SURVEYOR ACHIEVES MRICS STATUS
A building surveyor at Harris Lamb has achieved his Chartered status after successfully completing his post-graduate qualifications with the business’ support.
Marcus Andrew joined the company in January 2016 with a degree from Coventry University, and has played a vital role in the business’ Building Consultancy team, supporting and overseeing a diverse range of projects throughout the UK.
The business supported Marcus through his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC), culminating in him being awarded his MRICS status.
Marcus said: “Ever since joining Harris Lamb, the directors have been really supportive and helped me to gain the necessary experience and understanding of the business as a whole to pass the APC.
“The business has a strong reputation for its commitment to investing in and developing its team, and Paul Wells and Gareth Booker in particular have dedicated a lot of time to helping me meet the required standards to move onto the next stage of my career.”
Paul Wells, Director, said: “Marcus has worked really hard since he came on board, and I’m delighted that it has all paid off for him.
“Achieving these much-wanted letters after his name, in addition to working in a busy department, is no mean feat, and throughout the process, Marcus has proved himself to be a real asset to both the team and the firm. I am sure his career will go from strength to strength.”
