NOTTINGHAM LAND PARCEL PLACED ON THE MARKET FOR RESIDENTIAL CONVERSION
A Nottingham land parcel with outline permission for residential use is being marketed by agents at Harris Lamb.
Acting for Telereal Trillium, the business’ Residential Land team is marketing the 0.23-acre site on Cowan Street, with Harris Lamb’s planning team having secured outline consent for 42 apartments or 91 student bed flats.
The land is adjacent to Victoria Park, and is located beside a concrete building already earmarked for residential conversion. It is currently being used as a car park
James Willcock, of the Residential Land team, said: “Surrounded by characterful residential and commercial buildings, this is a well-positioned site, with the city centre being within easy reach on foot.
“It is located less than a mile of Nottingham Trent University and three miles away from the University of Nottingham, and has a prominent location next to the entrance to Victoria Park, a short walk to the city’s Lace Market, and with the city having such a high student population, it lends itself very well to student accommodation as well as to larger apartments.
“The site is also central to key routes through the city, with the A60 Huntingdon Street running to the south of the land and St Ann’s Well Road becoming Beck Street at the roundabout adjacent to the parcel.
“We are confident that there will be significant interest in this opportunity from developers keen to capitalise on the demand for accommodation within the city, be it to meet the needs of university students or those wanting quality new homes in the area,” he added.
A dedicated data room has been established containing reports and further information about the opportunity at www.cowanstreet.co.uk, the password for which can be accessed by emailing kalvinder.kaur@harrislamb.com.
