BATHROOM SUPPLIER CONFIRMED AS LATEST OCCUPIER AT MINWORTH TRADE PARK
A Midlands estate is nearing full occupancy further to the letting of a trade counter unit to a bathroom products specialist.
Harris Lamb secured established supplier Clifton Trade Bathrooms as the latest occupier at the site, with the business agreeing a 10-year term at Unit F2 at the park. This follows a full refurbishment of the three-unit F Block on what is one of the largest industrial trade parks in England.
Neil Slade, Director at Harris Lamb who oversaw the deal, said that there was a great deal of interest in the remaining void units and nearly all properties are now either let or under offer.
“Minworth Trade and Industrial Park is one of the most popular Estates in the region, in a prime position off the A38, not only offering excellent access to motorways and the City Centre, but having critical mass of national and regional trade operators. The landlord of the estate, clients of CBRE Global Investors, has invested a significant sum over the past year in refurbishing properties at the site and we are now close to full occupancy.
“Harris Lamb’s Building Consultancy team has overseen a number of works across the park as units have become vacant, including new roofing, external and internal decoration, and new ceilings, lighting and access doors in order to provide high quality warehousing throughout the site.
“The standard of this upgrade, the volume of existing trade business and its sought-after micro location has attracted a number of new occupiers with Clifton Trade Bathrooms choosing to establish its first West Midlands depot at the park. Further to this letting, we have a number of other units under offer totalling over 70,000 sqft that once completed, will see the estate at near full-occupancy,” he added.
Established in 2005, Clifton Trade Bathrooms supplies quality bathrooms and associated product and operate from 24 other depots, all based in the North of England and East Midlands. Minworth Trade Park is the first site within the West Midlands.
Other occupiers at the park include Screwfix, Magnet Kitchens, ARCO, Dulux and MKM Building Supplies.
