HARRIS LAMB COLLABORATES WITH KENDRICK HOMES TO SECURE AFFORDABLE HOUSING PARTNERS FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENTS

Residential land agents at Harris Lamb have been tasked with identifying a selection of housing associations to connect with high-end developer Kendrick Homes to provide affordable housing options at a number of quality sites in rural and semi-rural locations.

Kendrick Homes sought the business’ assistance in forming partnerships for developments at sites including Tewksbury, Banbury, Bishops Cleve and Stratford in order to progress 50 new homes to contract, enabling the selected associations to add quality homes in highly sought-after areas to their portfolios.

The business worked alongside Rooftop Housing , Connexus Housing , Soha Housing Association in South Oxfordshire (Soha), and Citizen Housing Association to secure the acquisitions.

Soha, one of the successful organisations, has acquired 12 properties at the White Horse Meadows development in Banbury.

Housing Development Manager for Soha, Anne Bottley, said: “We are looking forward to working with Kendrick Homes to realise these quality homes for affordable rent and shared ownership and to investing in the community in Banbury.

“White Horse Meadows is close to the town, its amenities and workplaces and I can see that our development there will be a popular addition to the social housing stock in the North of the county.”

Kendrick Homes has further sites in similar quality locations at an advanced stage of delivery for both this year and 2023.
