FLOORING SPECIALIST TAKES OCCUPATION AT POTTER SPACE DROITWICH
Agents at Harris Lamb have overseen the letting of a high-specification industrial opportunity at a premier Worcestershire business park to an expanding flooring specialist.
Falcon Contract Floorings have signed a 12-year lease on the newly completed Unit 101 at Potter Space Droitwich, a 28,450 sq ft warehouse with offices and 54 car parking spaces set on a two-acre plot.
The carpet and vinyl specialist, which works with some of the UK’s leading brands, will house 35 office staff at the site, which will support the operations of 120 further installers. The extra space will help create jobs for people in the area, aligning with Falcon’s growth plans.
Sara Garratt, of Harris Lamb’s Commercial Agency team, said: “Potter Space Droitwich has provided much-needed high-specification industrial opportunities in Worcestershire, with further construction now in the pipeline to deliver more units at the business park to meet demand.
“Potter Space have recognised the continuing need for high-quality, sustainable industrial solutions with excellent access links, with their £18 million investment in the scheme proving a huge success.
“To ensure long-term suitability with this letting, Potter Space’s construction team will build additional office space within the unit to keep Falcon’s business activities under a single roof, meeting the business’ future growth plans,” she added.
Potter Space Droitwich is a gated, secure estate with CCTV located in the centre of Worcestershire, with good access links.
Jason Rockett, managing director at Potter Space, said: “We’re pleased to welcome Falcon Contract Flooring to our Droitwich business park.
“As an ambitious family business, there are many synergies with Potter Space, which means we’re ideally placed to understand their needs.
“Our construction team were happy to go that extra mile to provide additional elements to ensure the space works for them now and for the long term. We’re looking forward to building a strong and long-lasting partnership to support their future success,” Jason added.
Charles Hassall, CEO of Falcon, said: “It was essential that we found a home that will support our growth journey for the next six years.
“We’re excited to partner with Potter Space to expand our operations, increase our business efficiencies and provide more roles for local community.
“For us, Potter Space was the family business we wanted to work with,” he said.
Following the completion of the first phase at Potter Space, the second phase promises the delivery of additional units and more jobs from December 2024.
