WRAPCHIC RETAINS HARRIS LAMB TO IDENTIFY CITY CENTRE OUTLETS FOR UK GROWTH PROGRAM AS IT LAUNCHES BIRMINGHAM STORE
Harris Lamb has been retained by fusion food specialists Wrapchic to identify new city centre locations as it continues its aggressive growth program – as its latest launches in Birmingham’s Bullring next week.
Wrapchic, which launched in 2012, has brought innovative fusion Indian food to the lunchtime marketplace, and is looking to launch 10 new sites over the next 12 months, in addition to the 10 it already has.
Wrapchic’s newest site – on the upper floor of the Bullring, opens next week – space located between Debenhams and GAP.
The business is now with identifying suitable A3 units on city high streets across the country as the business looks to expand its offering in 2015.
David Walton, head of retail at Harris Lamb, said: “Wrapchic has had a real impact on the food retail market over the past year. Not only has the business successfully commissioned and launched an innovative concept in UK, but it has brought Indian food into a lucrative lunch-time market.
“Within 15 months the chain has opened 10 outlets, including its first central London location, and we are confident the concept will continue to flourish.
“We’re now looking to secure other sites as prominent as that in Birmingham in a number of other key city centre locations.
“With impressive trading figures and good quality fittings, we are now working on behalf of Wrapchic to sites in Manchester, Leeds, Oxford, Bristol, Sheffield, Northampton and Cambridge.
“We’re looking for leasehold properties in high footfall locations, ideally with neighbouring outlets including coffee and food-led retailers including Pret, Eat and Subway,” he added.
Mahesh Raiker, of Wrapchic, said: “We have an incredibly strong brand, combined with a unique product range and a visionary leader.
Wrapchic is a company built on passion; passion for heritage alongside innovation; a passion for vibrant colours and flavours, yet bonded by simple and precise business methodology, and we’re confident that our business will continue to flourish in 2015 as we expand.”
