Harris Lamb implements planning consultancy shuffle to better service the North West

Harris Lamb’s Planning Consultancy team is celebrating a successful year, having won a series of major planning appeals for residential development throughout the country, and has now redistributed its resource to enable it to service the North of the country more effectively.

The team has secured significant planning permissions at appeal in Wychavon, Lichfield and Cheshire East, whilst also negotiating a variety of residential and commercial permissions across England.

HLPC has also experienced considerable success in securing allocations of land through the Development Plan process and the team is looking to build upon this success by consolidating its presence in the northern part of its business area.

Mark Alcock has relocated from the Birmingham office to lead the team’s planning presence in the North West and North Midlands and is now based at Harris Lamb’s existing office in Stoke.

Mark said, “I am delighted to have the opportunity to expand our existing workload in the northern part of our work area”.

“I have been able to secure a number of instructions over the last couple of years for landowners and developer clients who are seeking to bring land forward for development and are working on a number of initiatives, which will secure further instructions across the region”.

“Improving economic conditions with a continued need to identify more land for housing means that it is important that we support our client base and I am very excited about the future,” he added.
