THE FAB FOUR: HARRIS LAMB STRENGTHENS BUSINESS WITH KEY DEPARTMENTAL APPOINTMENTS

Harris Lamb has made four key senior appointments as the business continues to strengthen its multi-service offering within the sector.

The appointments have been made within the business’ Residential Land, Planning, Lease Advisory and Commercial Agency departments, with Ken Phillips, Jolande Bowater, Sean Reid and Scott Osborne taking on Director roles within the respective teams.

Ken, the former Regional Managing Director at MCI Developments Ltd (a Keepmoat Homes company), will take the helm of the Residential Land team, bringing more than 35 years’ experience within the residential land sector and a stellar reputation for exceptional new business development and land acquisition throughout his career.

Jolande Bowater brings extensive national planning consultancy, house-building industry and public sector experience to the business, which she joins from Keepmoat, where she worked within the Technical and Land & Partnerships teams, responsible for planning advice and strategy for all bid and pre-development sites across the West Midlands and the Southwest.

Sean, who has been an RICS appointed Independent Expert since 2005 and an Arbitrator since 2007, has a superb professional reputation and an extensive knowledge of lease renewals and rent reviews. He joins Harris Lamb from Savills, where he was a Director before becoming Head of Lease Advisory in the Birmingham office in 2021. He has held senior positions responsible for teams of surveyors at LSH, and JLL in Birmingham.

Most recently, Scott joined the Commercial Agency team to focus on the East Midlands region, based at Harris Lamb’s Nottingham office, having spent the past 17 years with Innes England. While Scott’s primary specialism is acquisition, disposal and development consultancy, he also has extensive experience of providing advice and support on landlord and tenant matters, property management and business rates guidance.

Richard Fantham, Director, said: “2024 has been a pivotal year for Harris Lamb and we enter 2025 with a clear focus to develop the business further. Ken, Jolande, Sean and Scott are all extremely well known and well respected within the region and within their respective fields and bring detailed knowledge and a wealth of experience to help lead, expand and motivate their colleagues. We are extremely proud to count them amongst our number, and we look forward to driving the business forward with their support.”
