150-HOME PLAN IN EXHALL GETS GREEN LIGHT
Plans to build up to 150 homes near Nuneaton have been given the green light by councillors.
Acting on behalf of Heyford Developments, Harris Lamb secured outline permission for the plans for the 14 acre site off School Lane in Exhall.
John Pearce, of Harris Lamb’s planning team said: “This site is part of a wider allocation in the recently adopted Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Plan, and we’re delighted that the local authority has granted permission for the development.
“The proposed scheme will deliver a mix of market and affordable housing including public open space within the Borough, as well as a number of transport, cycling and pedestrian improvements and contributions designed to enhance the area for existing and new residents,” he said.
The site has now been acquired by Keepmoat Homes, with a reserved matters application currently being prepared by Harris Lamb for consideration by the Council in the spring.
Construction is anticipated to start on site later this year.
