HARRIS LAMB AGREES NEW SPONSORSHIP WITH WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY CRICKET CLUB
Harris Lamb is delighted to confirm its renewal of a sponsorship deal with Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
The annual sponsorship package with the club has been renews as the business it marks its 25th anniversary.
Neil Slade, Director of the business’ Agency team, said: “We have enjoyed an excellent relationship with the team at New Road over the past four seasons, including advertising at the ground, taking out corporate hospitality packages and holding our annual conferences at the club and we are keen to develop that relationship further.
“We are lucky enough to have a really good relationship with the County – in 2015, our core fee-earners were joined by former CEO of the club, David Leatherdale, who addressed the business and shared insight on how WCCC has developed both as a team and as a 24/7 business with its conferencing facilities.
“The continued relationship is a good fit for us, not just as avid cricket fans, but as a business with a strong Worcestershire presence and diverse client base across the county. The opportunity to increase our company profile further at one of the country’s leading grounds is one we’re delighted to take advantage of, particularly in our milestone year” he said.
Neil has a particular connection to the club as he is the son of Doug Slade, former player for WCCC and current Vice President.
Paul Biggerstaff, Sales Executive at Worcestershire CCC, commented: “Harris Lamb are great supporters of the Club and we are delighted that they are extending their sponsorship engagement for the 2017 season, having developed a strong relationship over the past few years.
“Harris Lamb are regular visitors to New Road and them choosing to use our facilities for their annual conference is fantastic as pushing New Road as a venue for conferencing and off-site meetings is a key area of focus for the Club going forwards. I look forward to working closely with the business in 2017 and continuing to develop this successful relationship.”
