A new Japanese restaurant has launched in a former Leamington Spa travel agent further to Harris Lamb securing the occupier and overseeing an application for change of use planning consent on their behalf.
Natsuya is located at 100 Parade, a 1,561 sq ft retail unit in the thriving town centre, which has been fitted out with a striking, modern dining area and new commercial kitchen further to the business signing a 10-year lease on the property.
The deal was brokered by David Walton, Head of Retail at Harris Lamb, who said: “Natsuya’s opening brings an exciting new restaurant to Leamington. There was significant demand for this unit, resulting in competitive bidding with a number of underbidders.
“Our planners worked closely with the Natsuya team to secure planning consent from the local authority to allow the change of use to a restaurant, which adds to the diverse dining offering in the town. The positioning of Natsuya opposite Wagamama and Zizzi, and neighbouring Heavenly Desserts, is creating a cluster of dinning at this end of the Parade which adds to the Regent Court Dinning quarter,” he added.
The restaurant serves modern Japanese food with a wide selection of rice bowl, ramen and sushi dishes.
Tom Dang from Natsuya said “A lot of time and efforts have been put in to Natsuya, and we hope to become a popular addition to the town’s diverse food scene. We would like to thank Harris Lamb for this opportunity of being on one of the main streets in Leamington Spa, and look forward to welcoming everyone!”
The restaurant opened it’s doors on Tuesday.
