HARRIS LAMB OVERSEES CONTEMPORARY DESIGN AND FIT OUT OF BIRMINGHAM OFFICE SPACE FOR NORTON INSURANCE
Harris Lamb’s Building Consultancy Team has unveiled the £167,000 redevelopment of a Birmingham office on behalf of Norton Insurance.
The team was appointed to act as Principal Designer for the business’ new office space at Lyndon House on Hagley Road.
Norton Insurance took on the whole of the seventh, and part of the sixth floor of the property, and tasked Harris Lamb with overseeing the design and fit out of the space, ensuring that the project met the highest standards of design, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Lachlan Macphail, of the Building Consultancy team, said: “Norton Insurance wanted a new office space capable of delivering optimal connectivity, maintaining operational efficiency and good working environment to suit the business’ requirements. With the space being configured to accommodate around 70 people, it needed to be spacious, stylish and suitable for the needs of all employees and visitors.
“Over a five-week period, we created a modern working environment, providing meeting rooms, an executive office, a boardroom, a large open-plan office area and two kitchen areas for the business. We’re extremely pleased with the completed project, which hit the brief as well as meeting Norton Insurance’s requested delivery time and budget,” he added.
Rebecca Knowles of Norton Insurance said: “Further to having advised us on the dilapidations of our existing building in Vicarage Road, Edgbaston, we asked the Building Consultancy team to oversee the fit out of the new premises and we are delighted with the end result, which provides a comfortable and contemporary environment for our business.”
